About LadyCab
About LadyCab
LadyCab was born from a simple but powerful idea: to create a mobility service platform where safety, respect, and trust sit at the centre of every journey. In a city as lively and fast-paced as Dublin, we saw the need for transport that doesn’t just move people from A to B, but actively supports their well-being — especially on nights out, early mornings, and those moments when feeling safe really matters.
Our driver community includes licensed, professional drivers of all genders, with a strong and growing presence of women behind the wheel. We believe that increasing the number of women drivers in the state doesn’t just change how journeys feel — it means more women can travel in a way that feels genuinely safer and more comfortable. It also helps boost Dublin’s night-life safety and economy by encouraging more women to enjoy the city for longer, knowing they have a trusted way home.
We are a community-minded, reliable, and welcoming platform for everyone who travels through Dublin — built to uplift women in the taxi industry while supporting a safer, more vibrant city across the Emerald Isle.
Our Fleet
We take great pride in the vehicles that carry the LadyCab name. Our fleet is composed of pristine, well-maintained cars chosen for comfort, safety, and reliability. Whether you’re travelling solo, with family, or as part of a group, we have the right option for you — from elegant standard sedans and spacious multi-seater vehicles to wheelchair-accessible taxis and premium limousine-style cars for special occasions.
Every vehicle is equipped with GPS tracking so your journey can be monitored in real time. Our cars are cleaned and inspected regularly, because for us, a truly comfortable ride is one where you feel safe, cared for, and at ease from the moment you step inside.
Our Drivers
Our drivers are the heart and soul of LadyCab. Each one is carefully selected, Garda-vetted, and trained not only in navigation and driving, but also in customer care and road safety. We value professionalism, punctuality, and respect — every driver understands the city intimately and shares our commitment to providing a secure, calm, and pleasant journey.
Our driver community includes licensed professionals of all genders, with a strong and growing presence of women behind the wheel. LadyCab is proud to be the first operator in Ireland to introduce a dedicated Women for Womenoption, giving women and girls the choice — when available — to travel with a female driver.
This combination of high standards and genuine choice helps us build trust and offer real peace of mind, especially for those who feel more comfortable in a women-driven environment, while remaining a welcoming service for everyone who travels through Dublin.
