Driver & Fleet Agreement
Purpose and Relationship
LadyCab operates a digital dispatch and safety platform connecting passengers with SPSV-licensed drivers and fleet operators.
By registering, you agree that you provide transport services as an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of LadyCab. You control your own working hours, vehicle presentation, and service acceptance subject to platform-safety rules and Irish law.
Licensing and Eligibility
- You must hold a valid SPSV licence, current insurance, and Garda vetting at all times.
- Loss, expiry, or suspension of any licence or insurance automatically suspends access to the Platform.
- Fleet Operators must ensure all affiliated drivers remain compliant.
Service Fees and Charges
- Each completed booking attracts:
- a € 10 Technical Non-Refundable Fee per cab per booking, funding LadyCab’s operational-safety systems (24 / 7 incident response, panic-button integration, Garda vetting verification, hygiene inspections, female-driver option, live tracking, and bottled water).
- Cancellation or amendment within 30 minutes of the scheduled pick-up time incurs a € 5 charge.
- The meter fare and any driver extras are separate and payable by the passenger through the App, in cash, or by account billing. Drivers must ensure to charge the LadyCab Technical Fee for each trip completed, especially for cash jobs.
- LadyCab may deduct Service Fees and other agreed charges before remitting your payouts
Operational Standards
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and mechanical safety per LadyCab’s hygiene-inspection programme.
- Treat all passengers with courtesy and non-discrimination; comply with equality and safety laws.
- Use the LadyCab App for all accepted journeys and maintain active GPS tracking throughout each trip.
- Report any incident, accident, or suspected crime immediately via the in-app panic button or support@ladycab.ie.
- LadyCab may conduct random audits or passenger-feedback reviews.
Payments and Records
- LadyCab will issue electronic statements showing fares, fees, and deductions.
- You are responsible for your own tax filings, PRSI, and revenue reporting as an independent contractor.
- LadyCab may withhold payments pending investigation of fraud, chargebacks, or regulatory breaches.
Data Protection
LadyCab processes personal and journey data solely to operate and secure the Platform, in accordance with the LadyCab Privacy Policy.
You agree to handle any passenger information obtained through the Platform confidentially and to delete it once the booking is complete.
Safety and Security
- LadyCab provides 24 / 7 incident-response support and live-journey monitoring funded by the Technical Fee.
- Drivers must cooperate fully with LadyCab’s safety team and An Garda Síochána when required.
- Failure to follow safety instructions may result in immediate suspension.
Suspension and Termination
- LadyCab may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, misconduct, or safety risk.
- Contractors may terminate at any time by written notice to support@ladycab.ie once all balances are settled.
- Termination does not affect rights accrued before the date of termination.
- Reactivation may occur upon proof of compliance.
Liability and Indemnity
- LadyCab acts solely as a technology and dispatch provider and is not the transport operator.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LadyCab from any claim arising from your driving, conduct, or breach of law.
- LadyCab’s liability is limited to the greater of the amount paid for the relevant booking or € 100, except for death or personal injury caused by LadyCab’s negligence.
Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control—including natural disasters, war, epidemics, or system outages.
Obligations resume once the event ceases.
If it lasts more than 30 days, either party may terminate without penalty; outstanding fees remain payable.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Disputes shall first be addressed through LadyCab’s internal process (email support@ladycab.ie) and, if unresolved, under the jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
This Agreement is governed by Irish law.
Notices and Contact
Formal notices must be sent to support@ladycab.ie or to LadyCab’s registered office address.
Updates or amendments will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any revised version.
Entire Agreement and Interpretation
This Agreement, together with the LadyCab Privacy Policy and incorporated documents, forms the entire contract between LadyCab Limited and the Contractor.
Headings are for convenience only.
Monetary amounts are expressed in Euro (€).
Any invalid provision shall not affect the remainder of the Agreement.
