Pet Taxi Policy & Terms

To ensure the safety, comfort, and cleanliness of our vehicles, the following rules apply to all LadyCab Pet Taxi bookings.

By booking a Pet Taxi with LadyCab, you agree to the terms below.

Booking Requirements

  • ⁠All pet journeys must be booked in advance.
  • Availability is limited and cannot be guaranteed for last-minute requests.
  • Bookings may be refused if the requirements below are not met.

Pet Size Limits

Due to vehicle size limitations, we can only transport small pets.

  • ⁠Maximum pet weight: 5kg
  • Pets over 5kg cannot be accepted
  • Large carriers or oversized animals cannot be accommodated

Our fleet mainly consists of standard saloon and wheelchair-accessible vehicles and is not suitable for large pet transport.

Carrier Requirements

All pets must travel in a secure pet carrier for the entire journey.

The carrier must:

  • Be fully enclosed and escape-proof
  • ⁠Be suitable for road travel
  • ⁠Fit safely inside a standard saloon vehicle
  • ⁠Be clean and in good condition

The following are not permitted:

  • Pets held in arms or on laps
  • ⁠Pets sitting directly on seats
  • Open or unsecured carriers
  • ⁠Blankets, towels, cushions, or similar items used instead of a carrier

If a carrier is unsafe, unsuitable, oversized, or non-compliant, the driver may refuse the journey.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • ⁠The pet meets the size and weight limits
  • The carrier complies with this policy
  • Booking details are accurate
  • The pet is fit and safe to travel

Failure to meet these requirements may result in cancellation without refund.

Driver Safety & Right to Refuse

LadyCab reserves the right to refuse or cancel any Pet Taxi booking where:

  • The pet is not properly secured
  • The pet exceeds permitted size limits
  • The carrier does not fit safely inside the vehicle
  • ⁠The animal presents a safety, hygiene, or behavioural concern
  • Company policy or driver instructions are not followed

Driver safety and vehicle cleanliness are mandatory at all times.

Agreement

By booking a LadyCab Pet Taxi, you confirm that you have read and accepted this policy.
